I did PERM back in 2007 with company A and got my I-140 approved. Had to wait until 2013 for Priority Date to become current to file I-485 BUT in the meantime company A went under and I’m now working for company B.
I was just informed that I have to redo the full PERM with my current company B before I can file successfully file for a new I-140 and successfully apply for a I-485. My lawyer told me that the portability (AC21) of my old I-140 from company A only allows me to carry over the Priority Date but not the PERM I did back in 2007.
Can anyone confirm all this?
