Currently on H1B and max out this march ,so converting it to H4 visa.

Hi i am on H1B visa and completing the 6 year max out in march. i will be converting to H4 (my husband has H1b) and planing to stay in US for next two years. After that will i be eligible for applying new H1B without stepping out of the country(MAX out for H1B is 6years )?Please advise

You will not be able to stay in US after 6 year max out unless your GC is in process. It doesn’t matter if you are on H4.

Convert to H4 and be on it. If your spouse’s i140 is approved, you will be able to work on EAD after may according to new rule
