Hello Everyone,
I came to USA on an H4 Visa, got my H1-B in October 2014 through a sponsor. I am working on H1-B since then. Now I am planning to visit India and would need to get my H1 B stamping done. I understand that these days for H1-B extensions, we need not take an appointment and post our passport with valid documents and the Consulate sends it back with the stamping hence making our life easier.
I need to understand if the same process is being followed, if I already possess the visa and just need the stamping since it is my first visit after I received it. If not then obviously i need to go through the complete process of getting the appointment that spans over 2 days. Please help.
