I am Bachelor traveling to Seattle WA this month end with H1B visa, Can anyone tell me about cost of living in Seattle. My company released an offer with $50K. I guess 30% of it will deduct as tax.

I don’t live in that area, so can not provide concrete answer. However, at face value 50K looks on the lower side. WA doesn’t have state income tax, but it does have a pretty high 9.5% sales tax. Federal tax will also be on the lower side b/c of the low income.
You can go to craigslist.org to see rental rates in Seattle. If you will be sharing the room, then rent will be lower, else it may be on the higher side.
The good thing about H-1 is that it allows you to change employer to have a better paying job.
