Hi. My H1b lottery was selected in the 2nd round of the lottery. I wanted to know when does the change of status from F1 to H1b happens in this case. (Like for 1st lottery it is on october 1st)
The start date on the I-94 attached to your I-797 approval notice is the date your status will change to H1B.

Yes. Since that will take time, I wanted to know if there is a general start date like October 1st for the people who are selected in the first lottery.
