My I-94 is linked to my old passport number which got expired while I was in the US on an F-1 visa. I got the passport eventually renewed. Is there a chance that USCIS would reject my change of status to H1B because I lived in the US for a few months with an expired passport?
Well, you technically should have had valid passport…I am not sure, how closely they would look at it…
Hard to say…Did your I-94 given for F1 had same date as expiry of passport ?
What did your DSO stay ?
