I am on a FLC number with approved I 140, i am looking for a job change, eventually it might change my FLC number, willl that impact my GC processing and current I 140, as my H1B max out by Mar 2024.
Appreciate any help on this.
Once you change the job, the new employer will need to restart your PERM/I-140 process which will include the new job position and the SOC code for the same. You may be able to retain the PD in your current I-140 and port it to the new one if your I-140 approved for more than 180 days before you change the job.
Thank you so much, i understand new employer needs to start my Perm / I 140 process, as long as it doesnt have any impact on PD and no issues to my visa extension, it should be fine.
