Change in client after H1B stamped

My H1B is stamped but no active assignment is available with the client. Now my employer has shared my profile with another client.

What is the process to allow this change. Both client and work location will change.

Please guide.

New LCA needs to be filed by your employer…Nothing else required…

Is H1B Amendment isn’t required as the visa is stamped with previous client? Not sure though,

I am in a same kind of situation,where my employer says amendment is required…did you go through amendment process or simple LCA process.

But few months back my friend had the same situation in which case only LCA was required. Is the rule made more strict now ?
