I just recently got my i-539 F1 to H4 cos biometric appointment done. Case was updated with “fingerprint taken”. It has been 6 months since I applied for change of status. I am wondering if getting my fingerprint done mean I have high chance of being approved? Or there are still chances I get denied and/or rejected?

yes, you have good chance of the H4 approval as most of the H4s are pretty much standard approval and they do not have big complications. The processing times are long, thats why the delay.
