Case Was Transferred And A New Office Has Jurisdiction


Currently my case status is showing as “Case Was Transferred And A New Office Has Jurisdiction” since 2 months. I have one doubt here. My cases number begins with ‘EAC’ and now it is moved to california office. Does it mean that my cases number begins with ‘WAN’ now? Is there any change in the cases number particularly when it is moved from one center to other center. Please provide the answers.

From what others have reported, receipt number doesn’t change. They were still able to track using the EAC number and later saw the status as approved.
