Case status on multiple applications - issue

I hope you are doing great.

I have strange issue here and need your inputs, company A and B applied for my H1B new aplication, I attended visa interview through A and got RFE, then the employer have never responded to the 221g last one year.

so I decided to move through company B, attended the interview and got 221g and then received revoke notice. so employer decided to not to respond to the revoke notice and the case was showing ‘issued revoke notice’

Now company A responded to the 221g, now the issue is that the RFE status updated under Company B case number as received Response instead of not company A in USCIS portal. :frowning:

both are diff case numbers, but why it is updated under company B case number instead of company A?

how to overcome this issue? and what is the impact and how to update right case number

This is a consular issue so you will need to contact them and explain that the 221g response is for company A visa application.

qq, can I write an email to the consular office to review and correct it? or employer need to ask them?

I am just worrying that beneficiary can engage the Consulate or not on case status and updates :frowning:
