Case got selected in Lottery BUT not able to see the status in "https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/mycasestatus.do"

From the day of receiving receipt number, I am trying to check my Case status on “https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/mycasestatus.do” but always receiving the below error message.
Validation Error(s)
You must correct the following error(s) before proceeding:

  • My Case Status does not recognize the receipt number entered. Please check your receipt number and try again. If you need further assistance, please call the USCIS Contact Center at 1-800-375-5283.

I even called the USCIS Contact Center at 1-800-375-528 and after entering the receipt number, it mentioned that the Receipt number is invalid.

Please let me know how to check the status of my Case with the Receipt number.

Did you get a copy of the case receipt ? If not, ask your employer to provide one. Check Sample H1B Receipt Notices on how they look. If you have one of these, and still does not work, then contact your attorney to check, if any update from USCIS…
