How possible is that the Visa officer will ask for marriage certificate ?
do they only want original ?
Cant they veify with the photocopy ?
Dont they have any system or indian gov website or some application to verify the marriage licence ?

They may or may not verify, but why do u want to risk…???

any tie up apps with govt of india or the local state gov ? that they verify the marriage reg code, certificate no etc ? like on spot during the interview ?
They have their own ways to authenticate… If they got doubt, its sure that they verify it immediately or give u a slip
what is that “their own way” am curious… other than people saying in blogs, I haven’t a real scenario
mostly the officer doesn’t ask, even if he does, all he/she does is take a look & return that’ it
They may send the copy to the authority and confirm, keeping U in admin processing…
Or they might even call the authority then and there and ask
