Can we get H1B receipt number from USCIS?

Hi,

I have H1B approved for FY014-15 cycle. But do not have any visa stamping done. My employer has not shared with me any Approval notice/receipt number.

I came to USA in August’2014 on H4. Is there any way I can get my receipt number from USCIS so that I can do my H1B transfer and start working in USA.

Thank you for your reply.

Since my employer has not shared any details with me, I don’t have details about service center(Mentioned in step #4) OR Employer Federal Tax ID, etc.

Will it cause any problem if I donot provide them?
