Can we attend H4 VISA interview, while F1 VISA is undergoing 221G Admin Process in India.
Admin Processing in related to form DS-5535 received email next day asking for background security questions and answered on the next day itself, its been since 45days from now.
Attended Interview: VO Officer informed “Visa has been approved and collect your passport in 3 to 5 business days.”
Next Day: received an email with Form DS 5535 asking form Security questions. Requested to collect passport, and 221G white slip is given along with passport.
Now, can we apply for H4 Visa, while F1 Visa in undergoing admin processing, or wait until admin processing gets completed.
Sure, you can get H4 visa while other pending issues of any kind of visas.
All you need is a valid H1 visa for your spouse/parent and the proof of your relationship(marriage certificate etc)
