Can two companies sponsor H1B with Change of status for one applicant?

Hi,

Can two companies sponsor H1B with Change of status (H4-h1) for one applicant ?

if so will there be any issue related to new I94? i belive change of status will get you a new updated I94. so since there are two companies trying to do the same for one applicant, will that create any issue?

The earlier approval will prevail in system records. This is how a file moves through the system. You will be told that the latter petition is being denied due to ‘duplication of a previously filed petition record’. But I have also seen so many cases with two approved petitions…
