Hi I have recently applied for OPT with offer letter with opt starting date May 14. because my program completion date is May 11. but in the offer letter expected start date is april 24 or later date set by mutual understanding. I was wondering will it be a problem? the DSO said it doesn’t matter. But I am worried now. Can anyone give any expert opinion. Thanks.
It should not be a problem having it few days earlier or later. Your DSO is the key person to tell you on the status and if he says, it is fine, then you are good.
