Can i work till EAD expires if in between my visa changes to H4?

Hi,

I am on L2 EAD right now and my EAD is valid upto 2014 Jan but am expecting my visa will change to H4 from Oct 2012. can i work with my EAD after my visa changes to H4 if not is there any option to work in US.

You cannot work on H-4 and your EAD will be unusable after Oct 1 as your status will become H-4.
