Can I travel to any other country before getting my H-1 B stamped?

Hello,

I am currently working for an employer in NY and I got my H1-B approved this year.



I am planning to travel to the UK in November this year, then go to India directly from the UK (in a week) and plan to return to the US in December. I will be doing the stamping in India but the first country I visit would be the UK.



[b]Questions[/b]:



1) Can I travel to any country before I get my H1B stamped?



2) Am I supposed to get the stamping done in the first country I visit?



3) If not, what is the time duration for getting the stamping done?
