Can I go back to old employer after H1 transfer joined new employer?

HI

I was employed with employer A .I did an H1 transfer to employer B.the H1 transfer is still not approved.I started working for employer B as soon as I got receipt number and also submitted I9 with new employer .Can I now go back and join employer A again(without applying for transfer again).Employer A hasnt revoked my visa yet.

If yes , do I need to submit I9 again with old employer.

Please help thank you.

Yes, you can join A if they are willing to hire you and have not withdrawn the petition. They will need new I-9 if they treat it as a new employment. A’s HR department can confirm.
