Can I apply for H1b in April when my expiration date of OPT is in Feb and I applied for extension in Jan

My OPT is about to expire in Feb and I applied for the extension in Jan. My extension status is in pending. Can I apply for H1b in April of the same year? Please suggest me.

You should get your extension by April and definitely can apply for H1B in April 2017.
