Can Employer Cancel the Green Card processing while it is in process

Hi,

I am currently working in L1A Visa and my company has filled Green card it is in processing state. I have some issues with the management can the company cancel my Gc processing?

Yeah… Company can cancel the GC processing. If your I-140 approved, they can revoke as well. In my case also it happened like the same. If you are on H1B atleast you can retain the priority date in case of L1, i don’t think you can retain the date as its upto the company. If you need, probably double check with your lawyer as well.

So if after getting I140 the company revokes I140, still the priority yr/month can be retained?
