Can a employer file my L1B petition if I already have an approved H1B petitioned but visa not yet stamped

I am in a strange situation.

I have my H1B approved this year from one USA based employer E1 but visa not yet stamped. Now my employer E2 in India wants to file my L1B petition.

Que. 1 >> Is it legal for employer E2 to file L1B petition for me when I already have H1B approved from employer E1

Que. 2 >> If answer to the above question is “YES” then suppose my L1B petition also gets approved. Will it cause my existing H1B approved status to become invalid?

  2. No. You can move to approved H-1 petition in future or use it reference to file H-1 transfer or H-1 extension.
