Hi, I had US student visa and I successfully completed my studies there and worked in few companies on opt work permit. After my visa expired in may 2019 I came back to India. My question is, if I apply for visit visa for US now, will I be eligible for interview waiver as I have already been to USA?
Because, my friend who has been to USA like me have applied for student visa again and he got the interview waiver under new interview waiver category. I want to know if I apply for visit visa will it I be eligible under same?
Yes, however it is at discretion of the CO and there is no automatic waiver.
