AOS denied can I apply for OPT?

  1. I have an F1 status (not visa) with a valid I-20 through May 2015

  2. I applied for a I-485 (AOS) through my mom as the main applicant --> It was rejected.

  3. Can I apply for OPT EVEN after having applied for I-485 (which demostrates intent to imigrate)?

I would much appreciate any feedback with that question.

Hi Enrique,

Your application for OPT is not connected with I-485 decisions, it is only connected to your F-1. You can apply any time.
