Amendment got denied.

My h1 got approve in October 2015. I filed an amendment for the new client in Oct and got RFE in April requesting the client letter. I haven’t got a chance to submit client letter and provided alternate documentation. This amendment got denied. Can I file a new petition i129 and continue to work with the client after getting the reciept number for the petition.

  1. Can I file a new petition again

  2. Can I work for the same client after getting the receipt number

  1. Are you currently inside US on H-1?

  2. When you say file new I-129, are you asking a cap-exempt petition and not just an amendment?
