Amended notice after H1b approval

Hi All,

My employer applied for H1b 2013. Recently I upgraded it to PP as I have travel plans.

USCIS showed that "Petition approved on July 30"

A week later on Aug-6 status changed to some thing like this :-

On August 6, 2012, an amended notice on this case was mailed describing how we will process your case. Please follow any instructions on the notice. This case is being processed at our VERMONT SERVICE CENTER location. If this I129 PETITION FOR A NONIMMIGRANT WORKER is still pending, you will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

From other forums; I found that they choose some approved petitions randomly for review and if they find something is missing; they will issue an amended notice for further information.

now my question is:-

1) Is it something to worry about?

2) In case they find some problem; can they cancel my petition?

3) Can you throw some more light on this kind of request?

Thanks,

Vipul

Saurabh & all,

can you please reply?

The notice that they have mentioned in that statement is sent to your employer/attorney who filed the petition. Why don’t you check with your employer to know what’s there in the notice?

Dear Vipul,

My petition approved on May 16th, My status also showing the same and status showing “acceptence” I don’t know the reason but I got I797C from my employer. I am still confusing with this even I have i797c. If you get any info from your employer or attorney on this then please update me or send an email to dare2sunny@gmail.com
