Hi, I recently graduated from my college in Roorkee where I have been staying in a hostel for the past 5 years. I moved to bangalore 3 months back. I need to get my passport reissued since there is a spelling mistake in the place of birth. Now the problem is I have the address proof for current address also the admission letter from my college, where I was previously staying. I researched online and I found that if I was staying at different places for the past one year then the verification will be done at all the addresses. Does this mean that my college hostel address will also be verified by the police?
