A letter (on Letterhead) from Personal Department... What does it mean?

Hi,

In my blue slip, one required document is - A letter (on Letterhead) from Personal Department detailing job description and duties, including an organization chart.



What exactly they want? Is it a letter from my employer or from client?

Well, employer vs client could depend on how your H1B petition was filed. Typically, USCIS would like to clarify if proper employer -employee and right to control are held as in Neufled Memo. Read USCIS Memo . So, they may be asking org chart to clarify the same…Also, the job description and duties to verify the work and LCA.

Work with your immigration attorney, they should be the right person to guide you.
