I attended my H1B interview along with my wife (H4) on Oct 15th in Chennai.
The VO approved my VISA (H1B) but for my wife they issued a blue slip (221g form) with the reason as ‘Requires additional administrative processing’ and returned back the PASSPORT.
Questions asked:
What is your highest degree ?
How long you have been married ?
Need to know the procedure that needs to be followed in this case ? Usually the VO keeps the passport themselves for blue slip but they have returned for me.
