221 (g) slip. Letter to USCIS from the Petitioner.

Hi Friends,

On April month 2014 went for Visa Interview (H1B). VO asked few questions about my duties, company and education. I waited on Lobby about 1 hour finally I got a call from VO (Indian) and she was asked me about “Letter to USCIS from Petitioner” I said I don’t have at this time, that is with my employer.

After 1 hour I got a call from VO, she gave me 221g form and she mentioned on that “Letter to USCIS from Petitioner” .

Can I know, is there any chances to get approval my Visa.

221g is simply ‘inability to determine outcome’ due to a missing document. Supplying the document fills the gap. This is very different from a 209-214 INA (a) where you have been identified as a potential immigrant.

All the best

Yes you still have chance…what color was the slip - based on that you can find answers. It all depends on your case. it can be 2 weeks to 6 months +.

VO gave me 221g with normal print. Normal as usual print. A4 size white paper and black ink letters.
