221(g) H1B administrative Processing Refused or Pending.

i am done with my H1B visa interview on Aug 1st. and they have issued me a 221g form for administrative processing, they have given me only a white paper under that administrative process was marked and returned my passport. my employer files my petitiion and i have my all previous employment certificate but my previous company is no more. Are there any chances so that in admin process they can verify my previous employment.

It depends why it was put in 221g. If they want to verify your employment history, then old employers may be contacted. If they want to verify eligibility of current H-1 employment, then current employer/client may be contacted.
